Do I need to schedule an appointment?
~To ensure that you have the best possible experience when you come to find your bridal gown, bridesmaids dress, or mothers dress, we strongly recommend that you schedule an appointment. This way, we can guarantee that we have a fitting room and a bridal consultant available to assist while you shop.
When should I order my gown?
~While each designer works differently, we recommend that you place an order for your bridal gown 10-12 months prior to your wedding date. For bridesmaids and mothers gowns, we recommend that you order 7-8 months before the wedding date. This ensures that you and your girls will have enough time to have alterations done on your gowns. If your wedding date is sooner than these recommended times, there are rush and stock options available as well.
How long is a bridal appointment?
~Appointments are scheduled for an hour and a half, which is typically a comfortable amount of time to try on a selection of styles and narrow down to your favorites. Your consultant will help keep you on track and find your dream gown!
What should I bring with me for my bridal appointment?
~You don't need to bring anything, but some brides feel more comfortable envisioning the completed look if they bring a strapless bra and a shoe that is comparable to what they will be wearing on their wedding day. We have longline strapless bras available for use during your appointment as well if needed.
Can we bring champagne or other food and drinks to our appointment?
~While we love the idea of celebrating together, we ask that you refrain from bringing any food or drink to the store. All of our sample gowns are available to purchase off the floor, so we need to take extra special care of our inventory.
Can we take pictures?
~Of course! We encourage you to take lots of pictures when you find your dream gown. There are some occasions when pictures are not permitted, but your consultant will let you know if that is the case.
How does the alteration process work?
~We work with two very talented seamstresses who operate their own businesses as well. We work with Exclusive Alterations and Jackie of Sew Jackie; they come into the store two days a week on an appointment only basis and do fittings for our customers. They require 4-5 months prior to the wedding for alterations on bridal gowns and 2-3 months for bridesmaids and mothers gowns. Our consultants can assist you in scheduling your appointment and discuss the process once your gown has arrived in the store.
Is there a limit to how many people I can bring with me?
~While we don't have a limit, we do recommend that you keep your group as small as you can. We have a limited amount of seating and can typically accommodate 4-5 people comfortably. This also helps to make sure that you are focused on what you love and what details mean the most to your for your gown.
What is your return policy?
~Unfortunately, each purchase is a final sale. Every gown is a special order and once the order is placed, we are unable to cancel it. Because of this, we cannot accepts any returns, cancellations, or exchanges.
