About Tie the Knot Bridal

Tie the Knot Bridal Boutique was established in 2006. The original store was located in Howard, WI. After five years in business, we outgrew that retail space and moved to our current location on Military Avenue in Green Bay. We share retail space with DuBois Formalwear and have a wonderful relationship with them. Since opening our doors, thousands of brides have found their dream gown at Tie the Knot Bridal Boutique. We look forward to hearing your love story!

Housed within Tie the Knot Bridal, you will find Tie the Knot Travel, a travel agency that can help you with any honeymoon, destination wedding, or vacation needs! We specialize in the Caribbean, Mexico, Hawaii, and continental United States, but we can take you anywhere in the world. Tie the Knot Travel partners with Funjet Vacations and Sandals to provide you with the best experience possible, from beginning to end. We look forward to helping you plan and book the trip you will never forget!

Meet Our Team

Brenda Kilheffer - Owner

How long have you been with Tie the Knot? Since we opened our doors on December 1, 2006.

How did you get into the bridal industry? My daughter, Allison, had worked in bridal stores throughout college and she told me one day we would have our own store. I started the bridal store and my daughter now owns her own business, Sash and Bow.

What is your favorite part about owning Tie the Knot? Seeing the brides emotions when she finds the dress of her dreams. We give brides a champagne toast when they find their dress and its very rewarding personally to see the happy celebration!

Best advice? Be true to you! You know how you feel in a dress. No one can tell you how you feel!

Tell us about yourself!  I love to travel to warm weather destinations. There's something about an abundance of sunshine and a beautiful beach that just calms me.

Ashley - Manager

How long have you been with Tie the Knot? A little over 5 years!

How did you get into the bridal industry? I have always loved weddings, so I started working for Sash and Bow, which is a local wedding planning company owned by Brenda's daughter, Allison. That led me to Tie the Knot and I have been here ever since.

What is your favorite part about being a bridal consultant? Helping a bride find confidence and feel fantastic! The moment when a bride finds the right dress and feels more beautiful than ever is so rewarding! I love being a part of it!

Best advice? Trust your instincts! Finding your dream gown is an emotional process, so trust whatever your heart is telling you.

Tell us about yourself! I love music, specifically musical theater. I was very involved in music through high school and college and still love to see as many shows as possible.

Whitney - Bridal Consultant

How long have you been with Tie the Knot? Just over 3 years.

How did you get into the bridal industry? I've always loved weddings; my favorite part was always getting to see what the bride was wearing. After watching "Say Yes to the Dress" for years, I thought it would be really fun to work as a bridal consultant. I was right!

What is your favorite part about being a bridal consultant? I love getting to know the brides and their stories. I love hearing how they met their fiance and fell in love - it is so fun being part of something so important to the bride!

Best advice? Don't settle! You know what you want and what you like, so don't settle on a gown that you don't love. This is your big day - you should feel stunning in what you choose!

Tell us about yourself! I love all things dance! I coached a high school dance team in my hometown for 9 years and was on that team when I was in high school. It is one of my favorite things!

Debbie - Bridal Consultant

How did you get into the bridal industry? After raising 6 beautiful, successful children, I prayed God would show me the perfect fit for me. Here I am! It is great to have a job you love where it does not feel like work at all!

What is your favorite part about being a bridal consultant? Meeting each new bride and being excited with them as they discover a look they feel amazing in! When she finds the perfect dress, my heart feels like it witnessed the most beautiful sight!

Best advice? To feel like the most beautiful in the world because in his eyes, you are! Trust your instincts and imagine you and him on your wedding day!

Tell us about yourself! I love being a mom and grandma and I love the beach! Give me the water, whether it be boating, swimming, kayaking or paddle boating and I am in heaven!
